Melissa Montoya's Profile

Why I Build Sustainably

Because I am self aware. Because I care. Because I want to leave the earth a better place than how I found it. For my children. For my neighbors.

Skills I would like to Work on or Share.

I am a social media wiz, I have worked with alternative fuel technologies for the DOE and am working with a project manager for a local solar company (a friend of mine). I am looking to have a mixed crop orchard and ground plants with free ranging animals on the 'farm' I am putting together and am working with "Purposed Focused" a non-profit organization running out of a nearby Navajo reservation to acquire funding to secure the land and the supplies.

My Occupation

Antelope Valley Clean Cities Coalition, National Atheist Party, Antelope Valley Freethinkers, Purposed Focused & am currently in the process of starting my own permaculture 'farm' that will include a small permanent 'Renaissance Faire' to attract people otherwise unaware of the movement... (I have about 30 supporters and collaborators here in town.)
